My very expensive watch that I got at Greenfield Village 8 years ago needed a new battery. I have to have a jewelry store do it since they need special equipment. It is made out of recycled copper and stainless steel from a old factory in New York. They only charged $16 which is the normal price in the past. Since they are having their "famous" good fortune sale where you choose a fortune cookie and see what the discount is. Anywhere between 20 to 50% off. You DON'T get to do this first, you have to be buying something. This place is full of too expensive jewelry. After hearing the radio ads for years, I thought they may have stuff for us normal working stiffs. I finally found small pearl earrings for $85. My cookie had 27% off so brought it down to $60 something. Glad I finally stopped in but when I need good earrings, I will stick to the jewelry store in Monroe that understands most of us don't have money to burn. At least they have lots of sales people.

Stopped in to look for my first watch without much knowledge of them and really only an idea of the look I wanted and a price range. Was quickly greeted by Marita who did an amazing job of explaining the options available. She had great knowledge of the watches and their history for each respective brand. I ended up going with a Tag Heuer F1 that I am in love with and I can appreciate the racing history behind the brand. After about a week I realized I needed the watch to be slightly tighter. Took it in along with an old family Omega that needed a new battery which they replaced for free. Received very great service and felt respected about the money I was spending.

What can I say other that I wish there were more stars I can add. Tappers is by far one of the best stores I have ever stepped in. Everyone is friendly and professional. The new store is mind blowing. I was fortunate to work with Elisa. She went above and beyond in every way from helping secure what I wanted to providing unparalleled service throughout the purchasing process. I've always had great buying experiences at Tapper's, but this one was unique. It's no surprise how difficult it is to secure some of the more desirable Rolex models, so when I stated my interest in this Explorer II, I did so with the knowledge that I would be take a while. What I didn't anticipate, though, was how great Elisa would be through the whole process. I would think to check in every so often to reiterate my interest, but more often than not she'd check in with me first. Every communication was pleasant and reassuring, and I never lost confidence that she would do everything she could to make this dream of mine come true. Then she called with the great news. I have to say, the entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. I'm almost glad it took as long as it did, because it allowed me to build a relationship with Elisa and Tapper's...and one I hope to continue to build upon for a long time to come. Thank you!

They take good care of you and offer great pricing. I came in for a repair and was able to get my jewelry repaired same day. Julie helped me, she was wonderful. Very caring, enthusiastic and helpful. Will come back again!
